Dag’s Uppsala — Castle & Cathedral Art Print Set

Two landmarks. One extraordinary life.

This two-print set brings together original portraits of Uppsala Slott (Uppsala Castle) and Uppsala Domkyrka (Uppsala Cathedral), reimagined in Sara Causey’s colorful, geometric style inspired by Cubism and stained glass.

The two landmarks are intimately connected with the world in which Dag Hammarskjöld grew up. Uppsala Castle was his childhood home while his father, Hjalmar Hammarskjöld, served as governor of Uppsala County, while the nearby cathedral formed part of the historic and spiritual landscape of the city that shaped his early life.

Designed as companion pieces, the prints share fractured geometry and jewel-toned color while giving each landmark its own distinctive atmosphere.

For admirers of Dag Hammarskjöld, Swedish history, Uppsala—or anyone who would rather bring home a piece of Sweden than another generic travel poster.

Includes both the Uppsala Slott and Uppsala Domkyrka art prints.

This piece is offered as a limited edition print.

A small number of prints will be released before the edition is closed.
